An instantaneous expansion of existence known as space-time (we do not know what this is) caused more heat than you can close your eyes and imagine. The impossibility of the heat to exist in nothing created the ever expanding and accelerating medium we call something (we don’t know what that is either). With the expansion of volume and what we know as 3 dimensional spacetime, the heat was able to concentrate itself into plasma, and eventually the first hydrogen atom came into existence. As the universe became mostly hydrogen, some of it started to burn. It did not burn with oxygen in a physical fire on earth. The hydrogen clumped together as proto-stars and burned with NUCLEAR FUSION. Then it was off to the races as the universe created the periodic table of elements because the overwhelming energy must express itself. This is still on-going to this day.
Energy. The Matter creation medium. You are a form of energy.
The elements naturally clumped together due to the force of gravity (we have no idea what that is) and created Stars, Solar Systems, Planets, Moons, Asteroids, Comets. Inside these spaces there dwells rudimentary organic compounds. There have been billions and billions of solar systems and planets that have come before us. There will be billions and billions more to come. In our one solar system we arose. We call this system SOL. On the 3rd planet in SOL we evolved. We are a very young and fragile super-organism.

What we know today as human beings began as hominids. Hominids are part of the Great Ape family tree and they are Primates. Human beings still to this day are both Great Apes and also Primates. Humans began as a diversified worldwide distribution of hominids that eventually interbred with each other until there was only one dominate hominid left. Homo Sapiens. You are Homo Sapien Sapien.
The timeline and viable theories as to the rise of Homo Sapiens and civilization are murky and vigorously debated. The classical theory is the “Out of Africa” theory that states mankind came out of Africa around 100,000 years ago. Agriculture and civilizations then began around 15,000 - 50,000 years ago. There is a competing theory known as the “Multiregional Hypothesis” that postulates that hominids were all over the world interbreeding with each other, causing spontaneous civilizations and “races,” and culminating into the lone Homo Sapien. The timeline of this theory could go back even further. Advanced civilizations with organized hunting and agriculture could be older than 50,000 years. Such civilizations would be hard to discover through archaeology due to the ravages of time and the destruction caused by rival “races” of humans.
The most important thing to note is that, for a very long time, there were various forms of Hominids (human-like species) all over the world. If you were to meet one of these species, it would be both familiar to you and alien to you at the same time. This probably contributed to the hunting and breeding out of competing Hominids until there was only one left. Homo Sapien.
Now that we are the dominant life form and dominant predator on this planet, it is inevitable that we will seek out new hunting grounds on other planets. The only thing that can stop this inevitability is nuclear holocaust or a solar flare that kills the planet.
Technology, enlightenment, empiricism
Humanity is a very young super-organism in the cosmos. We are alone and on our own. The chances of our long term survival are slim to none. We are primitive and superstitious. Violence and stupidity permeates our being more so than rational temperament. We have designed systems and tools, rules and hierarchies to counteract our baser animal instincts. These systems and tools come from our ability to have logic, reason, and spatial awareness. When you combine those capabilities with the ability to plan for the future, you get the phenomenal rise of humanity.
Do not delude yourself into believing anything else. Human beings are still primitive, weak, fragile and short-lived creatures. Exposed and vulnerable. A simple solar flare could take us out, and without proper preparation that could be our fate. Historically, disease regularly killed off entire families and still does in undeveloped areas of the world. We are fragile. We even have the power to take ourselves out now with the rise of nuclear arsenals.
Modern human civilization is the result of the enlightenment period. The enlightenment gave birth to the modern scientific method and empirical sciences. What we call HARD SCIENCE. Remember that term and be wary of SOFT SCIENCE.

Using a “jetpack” to survey a forest fire and use a Lidar targeting system to guide cargo drones retrofitted to dump water.

Grow our organization and create an internal hierarchy. Found both for-profit and non-profit corporate entities. Authorize and oversee a civilian force of scientists and engineers that are ready to guide Humanity into a Kardashev Type I civilization.
